Hi, I’m Juliet, a director and writer from Buenos Aires.
I studied Image and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires, and I love creating stories that blend narrative filmmaking with sensorial worlds. Always seeking emotional depth, I’m inspired by the light of Agnès Varda, Pedro Almodóvar, Lucrecia Martel, Wong Kar-wai, Antonioni, Nan Goldin, Leonora Carrington, Hilma af Klint, Monica Vitti, Gena Rowlands…
For over a decade, I’ve worked as SWAN at the production company REBOLUCION, directing commercial campaigns for brands like Coca-Cola, MAC Cosmetics, Avon, Sedal, Kotex, and Mercado Libre, among many others. My short film Hippocrites recently won the Health Equity Award at Cannes Lions, highlighting how abortion bans threaten women’s health and lives. I’m represented in the US by Davant-Grade Media, and in Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East by GOEAST.
I also write and develop scripts at ABOUT Entertainment, pushing creative boundaries with bold ideas and original content.
My short films — Hippocrites, El Vestido, and Gravitar — explore memory, identity, and the deeply personal. Right now, I’m developing my first feature film, Parpadeo, and the series La Flor.
